Foxfield!!

Why hello first horse race I've ever attended!! I did see horses there right? Oh yes...yes I did. hahah ohhhhh Foxfield...what a great time with fabulous friends here in Charlottesville!!  We all got dressed up nice and pretty for this all day event.  Woke up around 7 am for this thinggggggg wow!  Got to Ashley's around 8:15, espresso shot already downed.  Then the mimosas were started, and the rest is history!  We had a ton of food set up at our tailgate, soooo yummy!  Laura made these amazing meatballs that I could NOT stop eating all day! 

Not only were my high school friends there but also friends from college were there too!  :)  We took a CNU picture of all of us.  My old college roommate from freshmen and sophomore years was there and it was soooo great to see her again and catch up.  It's so nice when you talk with a friend who you were so close with but haven't chatted with in a long time...things just seem to fall back into place with these kind of friendships.  I love the feeling of knowing how fortunate I am with all of the friends I have encountered in my life and those who are yet to come!!!

Another bug bonus...MY SISTER and Ross were there too!!  And their tailgate was not that far away from mine...just a small walk :)  I got to meet some of her medical school friends and classmates.  It was great to get to hang out with them.  My brother is graduating next weekend and Jeanette and Ross will be coming to the beach house for the weekend too!  I can NOT wait it is going to be one amazing time...
